Electrical Maintenance Artisan

SUMMARY:
Our Client in the Supply Chain Industry seeks to employ an Electrical Maintenance Artisan to join their team. Must have FMCG experience(Not Negotiable).

POSITION INFO:
Must be ambitious, a fast learner that is able to work independently.

Key Performance Indicators:

• CANI projects related to line performance and manufacturing performance.
• Be accountable for OEE and related KPI’s.
• Accountable for the scheduled maintenance plan.
• Lead preventative maintenance concepts and programmes.
• Set standards and ensure maintenance is being done efficiently and effectively.
• Responsible for spares inventory control.
• Responsible for ensuring equipment is always running at optimal setting.
• Working with the safety officer to develop and Maintain safety standards
• As a member of the Maintenance Team, supports the continuous improvement and growth of Team and assist with general site work where needed.
• Utilize workshop equipment to make up equipment and spares, as and when needed.

• 3 to 5 years post qualification in a FMCG environment on high speed packaging and processing equipment preferred
• Electrical experience advantageous
• PLC experience advantageous
• Report writing
• Able to facilitate and present at meetings.
• Able to undertake responsibility for area of operation.
• Quality awareness.
• GMP
• Computer literate
• The ability to communicate effectively in English (Written and spoken word)
• Facilitate and lead continuous improvement
• Fault analyses and diagnostic skills
• Able to train and pass on knowledge to minor
• Own transport and Valid Driver’s license
• Must be able to work overtime and night shifts on a rotational basis

• Matric with a pass in Math and English
• N3 qualification with minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Fitter and Turner, Electrical or Artisan related.
