SUMMARY:
Electrical Engineer - Mozambique

POSITION INFO:

We are currently recruiting an Electrical Engineer for a long term project in Mozambique that meets the following requirements:

Summary of Responsibilities:

Training team on plant electrical systems and equipment:

- Electrical Power Generation Systems operating & maintenance principles. Transformers & Rectifiers operating & maintenance principles.

- Electrical Equipment Condition Monitoring Techniques and application (thermography, oil analysis, MCA, etc...)

- Electrical equipment standard repair and overhaul (motors, transformers)

Support team with analytical diagnostic and problem solving on plant equipment failures and malfunctions. Identification and implementation of plant improvement opportunities.
Support engineering solutions for plant chronic failures.
Support the review of critical spares classification and inventory optimization. Support implement spares preservation and maintenance strategies
Support the team with Equipment Strategy Review in the electrical discipline. Support with project documentation review and approval for the PSA project. Assist with recruitment and selection of PSA Electrical team.

Qualifications and Experience:

• B. Eng. Electrical;

• 5+ years’ experience in industrial engineering role.

• Good interpersonal skills
