DESCRIPTION

Our Client is looking for the following:

• 1 x Electrical Engineer 

The candidate must be willing to work in Cape Town or East London, and they must be willing to travel on a monthly basis between Northern Cape, Western Cape and Eastern Cape, however they may require to visit the other provinces on occasion also. The more work experience you have the better. Professional registration required.

REQUIREMENTS

• Employment will be full-time, 3 month probation
• Organizational skills, communication skills, time management skills and project finance acumen.
• Design of (but not limited to) Electrical Infrastructure, Progress meetings coordination, computer coding & Computer Aided Drafting.
• Critical Experience:
  • Electrical Reticulation Cable Systems and Overhead Electrification
  • ReticMaster Proficiency
  • CAD or Similar experience
  • Street Lighting
  • Building Reticulation (office blocks, hospitals…etc)
  • ECSA Registration
• Beneficial Experience:
  • Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence
  • Substation Design
  • PLC Programming
  • Control Systems (Relays, Telemetry)
• Project Supervision and Costing: Developing and executing schedules
• Documentation Control: Microsoft Office, Professional Edits copy to ensure proper grammar, spelling, syntax and style.
• Presentation of various project design, cost and time-frames to various clients and stakeholders.
• You will be required to perform these duties, and any other duties the employer may assign to you, having regard to your skills, training and experience.
