Job Title: E-Plan Design Engineer (6-Month Contract)
Location: Cape Town, South Africa – Northern Suburbs
Gross Salary: R35 000 per month
Contract Duration: 6 Months

POSITION INFO:

Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented E-Plan Design Engineer to join our team on a 6-month contract based in Cape Town. This opportunity is ideal for a motivated engineer with a solid background in electrical design using E-Plan software, and 2 to 4 years of industry experience in either a manufacturing or consulting environment.

Minimum Requirements:

South African Citizen
BTech or BEng Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
2 to 4 years total industry experience
At least 1 to 2 years hands-on experience with E-Plan software for electrical design
Experience in Manufacturing or Consulting Engineering environments
Proficient in interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and standards
Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively with project teams

Develop, update, and maintain electrical schematics and panel layouts using E-Plan
Collaborate with project and production teams to ensure designs meet operational and compliance standards
Modify and revise existing designs based on project changes or updates
Ensure all documentation and drawings are accurate and up to date
Assist in troubleshooting design issues and providing technical support during installation or commissioning phases
Adhere to project deadlines and maintain design quality across deliverables

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in design
Ability to work on multiple projects within a deadline-driven environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Analytical and problem-solving abilities
