SUMMARY:
A vacancy exists for an Electrical Artisan within the Engineering industry. Ideal candidate to be trade-tested.

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:
N6 Trade Tested advantageous with minimum 3-4 years’ experience in similar role
Sound knowledge of electrical systems such as automation, controls, PLC’s
Be able to deliver and maintain high quality work and standards
Attention to detail and self-motivated
Driver’s License essential
Be able and willing to travel and work away from home from time to time
Willing to work shifts and overtime when needed
Read and understand drawings
Duties:

Install, maintain and repair electrical wiring, equipment
Ensuring minimum downtime in the event of breakdown
Diagnose malfunctioning systems and equipment to locate cause of breakdown
Test electrical systems using testing devises
Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers or other components
Repair or replace wiring, equipment and fixtures using hand tools and power equipment
Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, based on job specification
Maintain high quality standard of work at all times and under pressure
Timekeeping and fault finding
