EXPORT TRADER (STEEL PRODUCTS) – EAST RAND

SUMMARY:
Our client requires a candidate with experience in the South African steel export market to service and maintain relationships with customers throughout Africa.(Zimbabwe, Zambia, Malawi and Mozambique)

POSITION INFO:

Qualifications:

• Grade 12 / equivalent

Experience and Requirements:

• 5 or more years steel exports experience in a sales/trading environment is essential and not negotiable
• Strong numerical aptitude
• Excellent English communication skills are essential.
• An additional language (i.e.) Portuguese / French would be an advantage
• Be in possession of a valid passport
• Own transport and a driver’s license is essential
• Willing and available to travel extensively
• Experience in general steel products would be an advantage
• Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Have a stable work record and contactable references
• Able to work independently
• Sales and target driven
