SUMMARY:
A leading Waste Management Company is seeking the services of ETP Senior Plant Operator for its Operations in Delmas.

POSITION INFO:

Incumbent will be responsible for safe operations of the plant using neutralisers, distillation, cooling towers, evaporators, compressors, scrubbers, blenders, pumps, press filter etc.
The operator is responsible for quality of the final product.
The operator shall manage the plant operators to ensure safe and optimized production ensuring compliance to procedures, company policy, legislation, Work permits and PPE rules.
The operator will also be responsible for all troubleshooting and identifying any unsafe conditions.
Identify and immediately report any deviations in wastewater treatment/blending/process.
Optimization of plant and equipment utilization.
The operator shall be required to perform any other reasonable tasks/services from time to time as required by the business.

Requirements

Matric
Chemical Engineering Qualification, S4 or Diploma would be Advantageous.
3 years in Effluent Treatment Plant/ Chemical Production plants
