A busy steel service centre requires an experienced Projects Estimator to join their dynamic team.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Qualifications:

Grade 12/ equivalent

Experience and Requirements:

5 or more years related experience as an Estimator in the steel fabrication industry is essential
Computer literate on AutoCad and TruTops / Sigmanest software
Able to read technical drawings (fabrication drawings)
Knowledge of materials and machine abilities in the fabrication industry
Able to quote off a fabrication drawing
Of sober habits
Have a stable work record and contactable references
Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Own transport

Duties and Responsibilities:

Dealing with new and existing customers
Increase customer base
Quoting customers
Processing of orders and ensure that drawings / information is correct
Managing of projects from beginning until completion
