POSITION INFO:

Large National Company in Germiston is looking for a Senior Engineer/ Administrator to manage their Systems nationally.

Also, to control & co-ordinate the Information System’s Technical and support function by monitoring and maintaining the wide and local area network in respect of breakdown and performance, controlling user access to the remote and local, installing, upgrading computer systems and operating hardware/software and providing support and training to all users.

The ERP Administrator’s role includes the supervision and operation of the organization’s ERP systems through the implementation of the best practices. This includes installing, configuring, patching, upgrading, and maintaining the company’s investments in the chosen ERP technologies. The ERP Administrator is also responsible for planning and coordinating change management of processes required for the support of ERP systems necessary for business operations. You will apply proven communication and problem-solving skills to solve issues related to the deployment of mission-critical ERP software.

  The following skills & expertise will be of great assistance to you in your position:

• MCSE / MCITP qualification
• MS Hyper-V and VMWARE knowledge
• Microsoft Server Platform knowledge including ISA.
• Active Directory, Group policy, DNS, DHCP knowledge.
• Knowledge on Routers, Switches, Cabling and basic networking principles.
• Training of internal user experience
• Development of new and existing programs experience.
• Accounting knowledge
• Knowledge of Shopware (shop floor control system).
