ERP Planner with Baan experience, Spartan

Position details:
Type: Permanent
Reports to: Warehouse Manager
Key responsibilities:
a) Analyse production demand as well as workshop capacity and calculate efficient supply within the required time constraints.
b) Plan and schedule workflow for each department and operations according to established manufacturing sequences and lead times.
c) Plan sequence of fabrication, assembly, installation and other manufacturing operations.
d) Expedite operations that delay schedules and amend schedules to meet unforeseen delays.
e) Prepare and circulate regular production reports and schedules.
f) Proactively report on obsolete non-moving inventory.
g) Develop and implement solutions to improve inventory turnover.
h) Provide effective analysis and business solutions through integrating ERP and other information.
i) Analyse current systems and work directly with users and management to define system requirements, assist with design and propose solutions to configure software and align with business processes.
j) Develop and implement ERP solutions in collaboration with business process owners.
k) Customize and configure workflow to facilitate ERP integration with other applications, as may be required.
l) Identifying and troubleshooting issues with ERP systems. Ensure that ERP system runs as smoothly and efficiently as possible. Develop and implement solutions for any shortcomings that may arise.
m) Develop and integrate relevant ideas and concepts from users and managers into meaningful data measurement tools and reports. n) Work in collaboration with managers to modernize business processes and systems, automate business solutions and increase operating efficiency of the company.
o) Develop user-friendly functionalities and interfaces in the ERP system.
p) Confer regularly with department managers to provide updated information as well as to determine the status of assigned projects.
q) Maintain all online systems accurately to reflect order and supplier information.
r) Participate in the design, planning, measurement, control and monitoring of various business processes from an ERP perspective.
s) Prepare development progress updates and documenting ERP system processes.
t) Keep abreast of the latest ERP upgrades and offerings.
u) Ad hoc tasked required from time to time

Job Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

Qualification: 
Diploma/Certificate in relevant field

Experience: 
Minimum of 3 years’ working experience in similar field
