SUMMARY:
Our client in the manufacturing sector is looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to join their team.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities:

Design and Development of new products
Life Cycle Management
Engineering Change Management
Line Managers have been consulted on the change, and their approval obtained.
Master Sample Store
Quality management system (QMS)
Process Engineering
Department Management

Qualifications:

National Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or Business Management that includes Quality Management modules.
At least 2 years relevant experience as a manager in an organization.
At least 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing concern or related environment.
Strong ability to organize effectively, delegate responsibility, problem solve and communicate clearly.

Skills and Competencies:

Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
High attention to detail and analytical thinking
Taking initiative, efficiency orientation and adherence to standards
Team building and leadership skills
Highly structured with the ability to follow tasks through to completion
Excellent communication skills
Self-starter who works un-supervised and manages own time an activities
