ENGINEERING AND MAINTENANCE MANAGER -KRUGERSDORP

SUMMARY:
Our Client is looking for a qualified Tradesman with Mechanical and Electrical Plant Maintenance experience.

POSITION INFO:

Qualifications:

• Grade 12 / equivalent
• Qualified Tradesman (Plant Maintenance - Mechanical and Electrical)

 Experience and Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years’ plant maintenance (Mechanical and Electrical) experience is essential
• Have a valid passport and be able to travel both locally and internationally
• Must have working knowledge of production processes
• Must have Engineering design and management experience
• Have Quality Control or related experience
• Have good problem solving abilities
• Good written and oral communication skills in English
• Computer literate – (advanced skills in Word, Excel and Outlook)
• Experience in CAD systems will be an advantage
• Reside on the West Rand
• Own reliable transport
• A stable work record and have contactable references

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for maintaining a preventative maintenance system
• Management of the maintenance personnel - trackers
• Controlling stock levels – control of all maintenance related items/parts/spares
• Maintain a job card system
• Cost and maintenance tracker – budget
• Reviewing operation of machinery and equipment
• Setting of machines/ equipment and operating parameters
• Arranging maintenance on buildings
• Implement safe operating procedures for machinery and equipment
• Schedule vehicle and forklift services
• Responsible for maintenance and reporting system for all company drivers
• Assist CSC department
• Assist with production related activities
• Involved in engineering design, calculations, drawings, and quality control and will perform all hydro testing of products
• Responsible for inspection of outsourced products
• Generate reports for the Marketing and Sales Manager
• Ensure that deadlines/ objectives are achieved
• Achieving annual KPI’s
