EE/AA Construction Health & Safety Manager Western Cape R45,000-R55,000 CTC (Neg)

POSITION INFO:

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Registered with the SACPCMP ( as a Construction Health & Safety Manager)
• National Diploma in Safety Management / BTech in Safety Management/ B.Com Operational Risk Management or similar
• Thorough knowledge of OSHACT and Construction regulations
• Minimum 5 years working experience within Construction industry.
• Ability to work Independently, hand on & willing to travel around the Western Cape

Function:

• Support Top Management of the Organization with regards to the roles and responsibility concerns for health, safety and environmental aspects.
• Ensure, in accordance with corporate guidelines, the implementation, updating, reviewing and auditing Company SHE systems, policies and procedures.
• Monitor the effective implementation of appropriate health, safety and environmental system procedures and provide for their updating in line with changes in Legislation and Company Directives.
• Provide support and advice, including supervision on the preparation of plans and procedures for initial contract start-up activities.
• Ensure that operations are in compliance with statutory health, safety and environmental regulations.
