EE Internal Auditor FMCG Industry

SUMMARY:
EE Internal Auditor with a B.Com Accounting Degree, plus 3 years working history within a large manufacturing environment.

POSITION INFO:

Our national client, who is in the FMCG food industry, is looking for an experienced internal auditor who comes from a manufacturing environment and is used to travelling to sites to conduct audits. 

REMUNERATION: R400k- R420k neg

LOCATION: Centurion

NOTE: Extensive and regular travel around SA and into Africa. 

Own transport and valid drivers licence is also essential.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

B.Com Accounting Degree is essential

Plus at least 3 years working experience within a large environment i.e food, beverage, or within a manufacturing type of industry, is essential. 

Advanced computer literacy on MS Office, especially Excel.

Must have solid kowledge and skill in applying internal auditing and accounting principles and practices.

Advanced knowledge of ERP systems, e.g. Syspro

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Completion of system description re audit processes

Understanding of control objectives and frameworks plus the concept of internal controls.

Solid understanding of systems and processes within organisations

Drafting audit programmes

Perform tests on current contorls

Collection and analyis of data to detect deficient controls/control weaknesses.

Drafting of formal and informal queries and discussion of audit findings

Identification, development and documentation of audit issues and recommendations.

Liaising with the client to discuss implementation dates of recommendations.
