SUMMARY:
A growing e-commerce business is seeking a capable and highly accurate E-Commerce Administrator to join its Sandton team and support its expanding online marketplace operations.

POSITION INFO:

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, systems and detailed processes and wants to develop valuable skills ine-commerce, marketplace platforms, Excel, data analysis and key account support.

Duties & Responsibilities

Support the E-commerce Marketplace Key Account Manager with the daily administration of marketplace accounts.
Create, upload and update product listings.
Capture and maintain:
- Product descriptions
- Product specifications
- Product images
- Pricing
- Stock information
Check product listings for missing information, errors and inconsistencies.
Process marketplace data accurately and within agreed deadlines.
Prepare regular:
- Sales reports
- Stock reports
- Pricing reports
- Performance reports
Update spreadsheets and internal tracking documents.
Assist with stock forecasting by compiling historical sales and inventory data.
Monitor stock availability and highlight potential out-of-stock situations.
Assist with marketplace promotions, price updates and catalogue changes.
Track listing issues, order problems, returns and outstanding queries.
Communicate with internal departments to obtain product, stock, pricing and order information.
Perform competitor price and listing checks.
Follow up on outstanding tasks and ensure identified issues are resolved.
Learn and operate the back-end systems used across different marketplace platforms.
Provide general administrative support to the E-commerce Marketplace Key Account Manager.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Minimum Requirements

Previous experience supporting a Key Account Manager, salesperson or working in:
- Sales administration
- Account administration
- E-commerce administration
- A similar administrative role
Comfortable working with numbers and large spreadsheets.
Working knowledge ofMicrosoft Excel.
Willingness and ability to develop more advanced Excel and data-management skills through training.
Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Excellent organisational and follow-up skills.
Ability to work with repetitive data without losing concentration or accuracy.
Comfortable learning new software, systems and online platforms.
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritise urgent tasks.
Strong administrative and problem-solving abilities.

Advantageous

Previous e-commerce experience.
Marketplace platform experience.
Experience working with online product catalogues.
Experience with sales, stock or pricing reports.
Experience supporting Key Account Managers or sales teams.
