E-COMMERCE BUYER

SUMMARY:
Our client is looking for an E-Commerce Buyer that has extensive experience in the food industry, sourcing and buying. The ideal person would have worked with fresh food packaging and distribution.

POSITION INFO:

Responsibilities:

• E-commerce operating plan, inventory, and warehousing controls.
• Managing risk and procedures associated with cold chain/ fresh produce food and minimize stock wastage.
• Implement and continuously improve the quality of control procedure.
• Ensure quality of all products sourced is in line with product quality standard

 Requirements:

• Commercial Degree or Diploma
• 3 – 5 years retail buying experience
• Proven experience managing a fresh foods /FMCG (Cheese, wine, biltong, crackers)
• Knowledge of logistics, warehousing and delivery systems and procedures.
• Financial management skills
• Excellent command of Afrikaans
