Dyehouse Maintenance Technician (Western Cape)

SUMMARY:
We are looking to employ a Dyehouse Maintenance Technician for a textiles company based in Brackenfell, Cape Town

POSITION INFO:

Ideal Profile:

Qualified Boilermaker or Mechanical Fitter with a minimum of 3 - 5 years experience within a manufacturing/production environment.

Technical Scope:

You will be responsible for:

• Welding
• Pumps
• Pressure vessels
• Steam pipes
• Legal requirements
• Boilers
• Seals
• Milling
• Planned maintenance
• Spare part control

Experience:

• Experience in textile machinery and maintenance thereof
• Good IT skills
• Knowledge of working on a lathe and milling machine
• Arc welding

Qualifications Required:

• Matric with mathematics and science.
• Relevant certificate or diploma in Mechanical Fitting or Engineering

Physical Requirements:

• Able to work overtime when required.
• Physically active.
• Good eyesight/hearing.
