Company dealing within the mining environment has an opportunity for a Proposals Engineer.
To manage the tender process, design technical solutions, and create accurate cost estimates to secure new contracts.
POSITION INFO:
Mechanical or Electrical Qualification with min 3 years in a similar role within a company supplying to the mining environment.
Tender & Bid Management: Review client requests for proposals (RFPs), analyze technical specifications, and manage submissions before deadlines.
Cost Estimation: Calculate precise costs for materials, labor, equipment, and logistics to develop competitive pricing.
Technical Design: Interpret engineering drawings and collaborate with internal technical teams to formulate custom client solutions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with procurement, legal, finance, and project execution teams to align bid parameters.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or BTech in an applicable engineering discipline (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or Industrial).
Experience: 3 to 6+ years of relevant background in technical sales, bidding, or project engineering.
Skills: Strong numerical and cost-calculation abilities, high proficiency in Excel, and exceptional technical writing skills.
