A respected engineering solutions provider is seeking an experienced Control Systems Engineer to join its growing team.
POSITION INFO:
This opportunity is ideal for a technically strong professional with a passion for industrial automation, control systems design, and project execution.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, programming, integration, testing, and commissioning of PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems across a variety of industrial projects. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative and reliable automation solutions while ensuring quality, safety, and client satisfaction.
Education:
- BEng, BSc, BTech or National Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic, or Control Engineering.
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in industrial automation and control systems engineering.
- Strong PLC programming experience.
- Experience with SCADA and HMI development and configuration.
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, Profibus, Profinet, and Ethernet/IP.
- Experience with control system design, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to develop technical documentation and functional design specifications.
- Exposure to electrical and instrumentation systems.
- Experience within manufacturing, processing, utilities, or related industrial environments will be advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites when required.
