POSITION INFO:
Main purpose of the Job:
To collect and deliver raw milk to designated farms.
Preferred Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Valid PDP- Dangerous Goods- Heavy Duty Vehicle
- Minimum of 4 years driving experience
- No accident record
- Clear criminal record
- Own Transport (Advantageous)
Knowledge
- Background in Sample testing
- Customer focused
- Safe reversing truck procedures
- Defensive driving
- Road traffic act (i.e. Operating vehicle)
- Driver actions regarding to weather/road/traffic conditions
- Reporting procedure of emergencies and defects
- Vehicle inspection and operating a fire extinguisher
- Working with refrigerated/ temperature-controlled trucks
Skills
