Drive Train Technician

Key Areas of

•   Ability to repair/assemble the following Drive Train components for

Responsibility

trackless off-highway vehicles, among others:

o

Axles

o

Brakes

o

Centre Portions

o

Planetary Gear sets

o

Transmissions

o

Torque converters

o

Wheel Hubs

o  Any other relevant parts not mentioned above

•   To ensure delivery dates are met as per the work in progress

schedule

•   Reporting to the Workshop and Quality Manager to verify and sign

off all completed components as per checklists and jobs cards.

•   Ensure all equipment in the area is up to date with the quality

assurance schedule

•   Responsible for housekeeping, safety and cleanliness in the area.

•   Assisting in any area of the workshop when required

•   Making yourself available for overtime when required

•   Maintain quality standards at all times, including field service

repairs.

•   Technically superior (in drive train component repair and machine

maintenance) and can practically demonstrate those skills.

•   Proficient in Business English

•   Ability to conduct failure analysis on components.

•    Articulate, presentable with the ability to interact confidently with

customers

Qualifications

•

Must be a qualified diesel mechanic with 10 years experience

and Experience

•

Field service experience would be advantageous
