Fixed Term contract for 2 - 4 weeks for Driller / Drilling Machine Operator for company based in Alrode

• Trade Tested

Requirements

• 3 Years'' post apprentice experience

Duties

• Requires applying knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, metal properties, layout and machining procedures.
• Ensures safety and cost-effectiveness of all drilling operations.
• Ensures proper rig-up and rig-down procedures.
• Performs continual preventative maintenance and repair of drilling equipment.
• Directly reports preventative maintenance and repairs to the Tool Pusher.
• Provides ongoing coordination of services and communication with clients, supervisors and fellow team members.
• Maintains positive working-relations among the team.
• Maintains knowledge of current operational guidelines.
• Ensures all drilling operations are conducted per pre-developed plans.
• Ensure all safety procedures are followed.
