Draughtsperson

SUMMARY:
Our client an international manufacturing company is looking for an experienced Draughtsperson to join their team.

POSITION INFO:

Purpose

• Prepare precision drawings from hand drawn sketches and specifications to plan/nest material for optimal usage

Job specification

• Create designs as per client requirements
• Revise and amend existing drawings when required on system
• Consider optimal use of material when nesting/designing and work according to ISO standards
• Provide specialized technical, professional support to internal and external stakeholders.
• Allocation of material
• Customer liaison

Required qualifications/experience

• Tertiary draughting qualification
• 3 years experience in draughting, structural and mechanical design
• 1 year in production planning
• Proficient in sigmanest
• Autocad experience is an advantage
• Must be able to work from assembly drawings
• Good communication skills is essential
• Must be computer literate in MS office/excel
