Draughtsman/Mechanical Designer - Killarney Gardens - R15,000 - R18,000 per month
Requirements:
Proficient in Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD (Machinery)
Be willing to travel and work overtime on short notice
Have a good understanding of mechanics, structures and pneumatics
Sober habits & clear criminal record
Responsibilities:
Review drawings for accuracy, material selection, manufacturability, machining techniques, finishes, etc.
Work cooperatively with clients, colleagues, contractors, management, and suppliers.
Communicate with vendors for technical information and specifications
Select purchased components and ‘off the shelf” solutions as appropriate to meet requirements
Participate in site visits to vendor/supplier and client facilities as required
Produce full design and manufacturing drawings (Machinery for the food & FMCG)
Participate in design review processes
Be hands on and involved with the manufacturing and installation process
