Draughtsman/Mechanical Designer 2 Month Contract

SUMMARY:
Draughtsman 2 Month Contract

POSITION INFO:

• Be willing to travel and work overtime on short notice
• Be proficient in Autodesk Inventor and Autocad
• Machinery Design Experience 
• Have a good understanding of mechanics, structures and pneumatics
• Review drawings for accuracy, material selection, manufacturability, machining techniques, finishes, etc.
• Work cooperatively with clients, colleagues, contractors, management, and suppliers.
• Communicate with vendors for technical information and specifications
• Select purchased components and ‘off the shelf” solutions as appropriate to meet requirements
• Participate in site visits to vendor/supplier and client facilities as required
• Produce full design and manufacturing drawings
• Participate in design review processes
• Be hands-on and involved with the manufacturing and installation process
