World class manufacturer of high precision rotating electrical machines. We specialise in the design, manufacture and repairs thereof. Our state-of-the-art facility allows us to custom-build products for both the local and international markets.

We are looking to employ a dynamic Mechanical Design Draughtsman with experience in a similar industry to join our team. If you are an abstract thinker and have a strong technical acumen, please apply today.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• +1 year experience as a Mechanical Design Draughtsman. • Prepare drawings of mechanical components. • Computer literate – MS word and MS excel. • Experience on Autodesk Inventor and Autocad is essential. • Experience on Autodesk Vault would be advantageous. • Basic design calculations may be required. • Technical support to company departments. • Reverse engineering – use of micrometers and verniers. • Must have experience and knowledge of general workshop machinery. • Experience and knowledge in different welding techniques. • Knowledge of SANS / IEC 60079 – Flameproof experience would be advantageous.
