SUMMARY:
Well known steel manufacturer and distributor in the East Rand seeks a Draughtsman to join their dynamic team.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

To process customers drawings into the required nesting for production purposes
Ensure that all drawings are processed accurately and in a efficient and timely manner and , according to the requirements of the Company
Follow all lawful instructions given to you by the drawing office manager
Keep the drawing office / your work area clean and tidy
Ensure the drawing and programming process is done promptly and accurately as required by the Sales / Production Teams
Ensure that where required, dimensioned drawings are attached to the Job Card for Quality Control and Inspection purposes
Resolve all queries and or unclearness with the responsible Sales member and or the Client prior to finalizing any drawings and if required have generated drawings approved by the client
Assist all other departments with any drawings and or programs that may be needed
Ensure Customer Folders, files and drawings are saved and maintained as required by the ISO System
Ensure that no reprogramming and or drawing is done for production if the required Quality Procedure has not been followed
Report any Quality related issues to the Quality department for the corrective action / process to be followed
You will be required to carry out such Key Responsibilities in a professional manner!
