POSITION INFO:
Double Coded Welder
Reporting to: Operations Manager
Seniority Level: Mid Career (4 - 6 yrs exp)

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performing high-quality welding on various materials (typically carbon steel, stainless steel, or other alloys)
- Interpreting engineering drawings and welding procedure specifications (WPS)
- Working on pipework, pressure vessels, and structural components
- Maintaining weld quality standards and completing necessary documentation
- Following strict health and safety protocols
- Working in potentially challenging environments (heights, confined spaces, etc.)
- Passing regular weld testing and requalification
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Double welding certification (typically two different processes or materials, such as TIG and MMA, or carbon steel and stainless steel)
- Relevant trade qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3, Apprenticeship, or equivalent)
- CSWIP or equivalent welding certification
- Pressure piping qualifications (ASME IX, EN ISO 9606, or similar)
- Experience in industrial settings (oil & gas, petrochemical, or power generation preferred)
- Ability to pass specific welding tests
- Safety certifications required
- Understanding of quality control procedures and NDT methods
- Grade 12
