SUMMARY:
Our client, an NPO, offers an organised and administrative minded BSc Graduate (EE Candidate) the opportunity to launch a very fulfiling career as a Donor Request Coordinator. The successful candidate will manage and coordinate the entire stemcell transplant process to ensure a positive outcome for both patient and donor.
POSITION INFO:
Requirements:
BSc Degree in Biomedicine / Genetics / Other Related Disciplines.
Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency.
Own car and valid driver''s license.
Duties / Responsibilities:
Facilitate search requests.
Assess interest and availability of donors identified as potential matches.
Educate donors on peripheral blood stem cell donation process / bone marrow collection.
Manage the administrative process (attention to detail NB)
Manage any logistics relating to the process (eg. export and import of samples, travel arrangements etc.)
Manage donor and patient relationships.
Adherence to QMS requirements relating to:
- Document management
- Labelling
- Emergency and disaster / business continuity
- Risk management
- Process SOPs
- Confidentiality and disclosures
Ensure all applicable rules and regulations are complied with and ensure best practice, particularly as these relate to Drugs and Cosmetics Act, Data Protection and Confidentiality.
