POSITION INFO:
Join a well-established FMCG and distribution company known for driving growth across multiple brands. As the Distributor Accountant, you’ll work closely with finance and operational teams to ensure accurate financial records, regulatory compliance, and efficient reporting across the group.
This role requires solid experience with distributor financial processes, strong attention to detail, and being comfortable with operating in a high-volume sales environment. Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Group Accounting: Manage bookkeeping and reporting across multiple entities within the group.
- Compliance & CIPC: Handle statutory submissions including company registrations, updates, and financial compliance.
- Reporting & Reconciliations: Prepare monthly financial reports, perform reconciliations, and support audits.
- System Management: Maintain accurate records and ensure data integrity.
- Operational Finance Support: Partner with sales teams to track margins, manage accounts, and improve financial processes.
Qualifications & Skills:- BCom Degree in Finance or Accounting
- Group accounting / distributor experience
- Experience in a sales-driven environment
- Swordfish software exposure preferred
- Proven knowledge of CIPC compliance and financial regulatory reporting
