Distribution / Dispatch manager

SUMMARY:
Our ambitious client, who manufactures and supplies innovative packaging to a wide range of industries is seeking a determent Distribution or Dispatch manager to join their team of specialists.

POSITION INFO:

Job & Company Description:

• Maintaining stock accuracy in the finish goods warehouse
• This person will drive execution to the dispatch plan.
• Planning to ensure customers receive their orders on time, in full and in the required condition by managing and owning goods, processes and systems, postproduction.
• Managing and engaging transport suppliers in terms of rates and commercial/ administrative/ regulatory/legal requirements.
• Management of warehouses, stock, stock systems, waste and redundant stock
• Ensure pull production protocol is adhered to.
• Control the dispatch and documentation of finished goods, flat sheet and any other sold products (pallets etc).

• Transport Cost reduction. As well as managing and owning transport index process.
• Control documentation (Delivery Notes, Transport Invoices, Extras)
• Sit in on daily planning huddle and provide feedback from dispatch on NOTIF order liners.
• Functional back-up for Despatch Planner & Production Planner

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Supply Chain
• Additional training or a certificate in data analysis would be advantageous

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• 3-4 years’ overall experience in a similar role
• 2 years’ experience in a leadership role

Remuneration:

R200 000.00 – R330 000.00 CTC pa
