Dispatch Supervisor

SUMMARY:
Well established client in Rustenburg has a vacancy for a Dispatch Supervisor (Steel Industry)

POSITION INFO:
This position will report directly to the Director / Chief Executive Officer and requires someone who can think for himself and use some initiative.

Requirements:

• Matric / Technical qualification required
• Attention to detail - must ensure 100% accuracy
• At least 2 years experience as a Dispatcher
• Experience within the Steel / Engineering industry preferable
• Good attitude and willing and able to learn 
• Young and energetic male with valid driver''s license

Some duties are: 
Obtain the "outstanding item" list, load only the items listed on the outstanding list, ensure that items were released by the Inspector, that all items are marked properly and clearly and if not, get the Workshop Manager to mark them. Compile a loading list as items are loaded and ensure only items on the list are loaded on the truck. Request a delivery note and hand to the Driver, ensure items were properly painted and fettled before loading onto the truck. Report any paint issues to the Paint Supervisor, report any non-painted items which could not be loaded to the Director. Always ensure that the loading area is clean and tidy
