Direct Sales Executive

SUMMARY:
Our Client, a leader in the Telecommunication Industry, is looking for a Sales Executive: Digital Sales. Must have at least 5 years strong sales and account Management experience in the Telecommunications industry, focused on Digital Telecommunication Solutions.12 month contract. Basic plus uncapped commission.

POSITION INFO:

The purpose of this role is to generate leads, build pipeline, and nurture opportunities to closure.

 Landscape medium and global multinational accounts and identify opportunities for mobility, fixed unified communications, security, cloud and hosting and IOT, through outbound social selling and marketing campaigns as appropriate to the Sales strategy, thereby helping to build sale pipeline.

Engage with the customers buying centres.

The incumbent of this role is required to work closely with pre sales specialists, local teams and business partners.

This role requires in depth pre-call research, in order to build multinational opportunity pipeline working with GAM strategy. The role requires the consultant to ensure opportunities are followed to closure and do not become stuck/stale.

This is an end to end profile: This role proposes to close rather than hand over qualified opportunities

Duties :

• Responsible for generating revenue within strategic portfolio''s segments.
• Collaborate with field sales staff throughout Sales cycle to deliver solutions so as to meet targets
• Follow lead pass and customer handover guidelines
• Build and manage sales pipeline ensuring a min of 4x sales target, thereby ensuring healthy pipeline, target achievement and Customer NPS score
• Responsible for managing services for customer. 
• Design commercial offerings to the customer. 
  • Identify,  qualify, propose, negotiate and close sales opportunities (Vodafone Way of selling)
  • Identify and manage customer requirements to complete proposal/contract
• Provide support. 
• Reporting. 

Experience/Skills :

• Matric/Grade 12. 
• 3 Years sales and/or marketing Degree/Diploma
• Minimum of 3-5 years'' experience within customer service environment of which two years must be data (converged and/or fixed) selling experience and have managed strategic / key accounts maintenance
• Ability to engage partners in a value add business conversation
• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
• Ability to establish credibility by understanding business challenges and needs
• Understand industry trends and challenges 
• Advanced knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
• Valid Driver''s license and own transport is required
