SUMMARY:
Southern Oil Pty Ltd, an established company and market leader in the manufacturing of Canola oil and related products in the retail, food services, and bulk sectors, has the following exciting career opportunity in Swellendam.

POSITION INFO:

Short Summary:

The main purpose of this position is to offer assistance and sell products to customers in the Factory shop. The primary duties include all aspects of stock, process pricing, and payments as well as the upkeep of the Factory Shop.

Responsibilities:

• Greeting and servicing walk-in customers and accurately processing sale transactions in 4POS.
• Drive upselling of products to customers.
• Place stock orders for SOILL stores on a daily and weekly basis.
• Place stock orders with external vendors on weekly basis.
• Manage and ensure stock levels are maintained.
• Loading Vendor Purchase Orders in the system and follow up on approval and payments.
• Daily cash up processed accurately.
• Load correct monthly and special pricing in the system and drive approvals.
• Monthly/ weekly stock takes as required.
• Replenish supply of stock on shelves.
• Maintain outlook of store and equipment.
• Communicate weekly reports and feedback to the direct Supervisor.

• Minimum of a Grade 12
• Experience in the retail environment
• Experience with Customer Service and Stock Management
• Experience with 4POS systems or online order and stock systems.
• SAP will be an advantage

• Strong administration and time management skills
• Problem-solving and organizational skills
• Computer Literate
• Good Customer Service
