PURCHASING EXPERIENCE IN A PHARMACEUTICAL ENVIRONMENT IS A MUST TO BE CONSIDERED!

Minimum Education / Experience Required:

Qualification in Purchasing/Supply Chain Management
Excellent computer literacy and knowledge of ERP systems
Excellent interpersonal skills and leadership skills
People management experience is required
3-5 years' experience of working in a similar role

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Primary role:

Implement procurement activities
Achieve financial targets and KPIs for the category
Achieve category stock and inventory management KPIs

Responsibilities:

Negotiate the purchase of products and quantities
Negotiate and agree discounts with suppliers (Negotiation skills)
Order easy and hard lines products for volume and margin
Liaise with suppliers/customers (internal/external) (Excellent communication and Interpersonal skills)
Maintain and manage suppliers and pricing arrangements list
Monitor performance of suppliers and products
Monitor stock quantities
Perform volume planning and manage product life cycle
Ensure sufficient procurement of stock to meet customer facing sales/demands
Improve and develop business relationships with suppliers and source new suppliers
Maintain credits and debits
