SUMMARY:
12 Month contract role for an Electronics Manufacturing company with international footprint requires the services of Digitalization Officer with responsibilities of an IT Manager and Project Manager combined involved in initiatives across the organisation.

Job Summary:
The Digitalization Officer is a pivotal role that combines the responsibilities of an IT Manager with the added dimension of Project Manager responsibilities to ensure the successful planning, execution, and management of digitalization initiatives across the organization.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience in IT management and project management, with a minimum of 5 years in each role.
• Strong understanding of digital technologies, trends, and best practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Project management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are a plus.
• Knowledge of data privacy regulations and cybersecurity best practices.
• Familiarity with industry-specific software and technologies (e.g., ERP systems, CRM software).
• Proficiency in project management tools and software.

• Collaborate with senior leadership to develop a comprehensive digitalization strategy aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
• Identify and evaluate digitalization opportunities and technologies to enhance business processes and competitiveness.

• Lead and oversee digitalization projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
• Develop project plans, set objectives, define scope, allocate resources, and manage project risks.

• Manage out-sourced IT service provider.
• Ensure the effective operation of IT systems, networks, and infrastructure.

• Evaluate existing technology infrastructure and recommend upgrades or enhancements to support digital initiatives.
• Oversee the selection, procurement, and implementation of digital tools, software, and systems.

• Foster a collaborative work environment across departments
• Change Management:
• Ensure smooth transitions during digitalization efforts.
• Communicate changes effectively to all stakeholders and provide training as necessary.

• Prepare and manage budgets for digitalization projects and ongoing IT operations.
• Monitor expenses, optimize resource allocation, and identify cost-saving opportunities.

• Implement and maintain data security protocols to safeguard sensitive information.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
• Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and ROI of digitalization efforts.
• Generate regular reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
