SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking a proven sales talent to grow their Digital Signage business in South Africa and neighbouring countries (business to business) and to work directly with the CEO on several existing clients and new opportunities.
POSITION INFO:
You will be responsible for building the company’s sales funnel, strategy, and strategic partnerships, while also serving as key point of contact to our existing clients. Ideally you would need to be tech savvy.
In short, they have built a software application which enables our customers to take control of their in-store TV screens. Customers can use our software for adverts and promotions, menu boards, general staff messaging, or even queue entertainment. The software is user-friendly and offers endless possibilities.
You do not need to be based in Somerset West, but will be required to attend sales meetings in the office once/twice a week.
Your duties would involve:
• Contact an existing database of potential customers (1st point of call)
• Build a strong pipeline of NEW contacts/clients while documenting your interaction on a CRM tool
• Enhance existing sales presentations/pitches
• Set up meetings/presentations and demos on an ongoing basis with the CEO
• Create and nurture long lasting relationships with clients
What will you be selling?
• Digital signage hardware components and accessories (screens, media players etc.)
• Digital signage software and managed services (SAAS platform with monthly premiums/packages)
• Content plans and monthly packages
Required Skills/Attributes
• Proven sales and business development background (ideally in the SAAS field)
• At least a Matric certificate (a degree/diploma to your advantage)
• A strong business/company contact database
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written); a second language to your advantage
• Presentable and approachable
• The ability to work both independently and within a team
• Proficient in MS Office suite (PPT, Excel, Outlook etc.)
• Strong organisation skills and multitasking abilities
• Good concentration skills; a practical and logical thinker
• An excited energy and good attitude with a hunger to sell and upsell
• Self-driven, hard-working, reliable, and trustworthy
• Own transport essential (valid driver’s license)
• Willing to travel as and when needed
Details
• Monday to Friday, but the ball is in your court to hit targets and increase comms; must be flexible and driven
• An initial 3-month probation period with full time prospects based on performance and skill
• Ample growth within the company for the right person
Basic salary with an initial target: R12,000- R17,000 (incentives, company perks, and strong commission offered thereafter)
