Introduction

A IT company situated in Centurion is seeking to employ a Digital Project Manager with 2 - 4 years'' experience to become part of their dynamic and versatile team.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be working with a dynamic team, across various disciplines; Content, Design and Web Development.
Your primary focus will be the day-to-day management of all our digital projects.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

• Managing a number of different projects simultaneously for a variety of clients
• Working closely with internal team such as sales, operations, accounts and management
• Develop project plans and track deliverables daily / weekly
• Ensuring projects are delivered on time and within the project budget
• Handling everything from the briefing process, project scope, project development and go live
• Debriefing and reporting on projects with the relevant stakeholders

Imperative Skills

• Strong technical background in web development
• Project management software experience is essential (JIRA, Basecamp, Podio or other)
• Experience in delivering projects according to Waterfall and Agile project management methodologies.
• Ability to coordinate and manage multiple projects
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage time and tasks
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills (written and verbal communication)
• Commercial awareness
• Attention to detail, strict / high standard of output deliveries
• Ability to work under pressure
• Understanding and monitoring of KPIs
• Client expectation management
• Sound administrative skills and good analytical, documentation and reporting abilities
• Experience in daily and long-term planning techniques and resourcing across a combination of internal and external teams
• Understand and estimate the effort needed to deliver the project
  
  

Qualification And Experience

• Education: tertiary marketing qualification or equivalent
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Marketing agency
• Experience in agile project management including planning techniques and resourcing allocation
• Highly computer literate
