POSITION INFO:

African Sun Media is looking for a suitably qualified, dynamic, innovative and energetic person to fill the position of Digital Marketing and Brand Development Specialist. The successful candidate will be part of a creative team that requires technical knowledge and skills relating to digital marketing, marketing strategies, social media and Brand Development through digital marketing and social media platforms. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing client projects relating to digital marketing and brand development on digital and social media platforms.

REQUIREMENTS

• 2-3 years’ experience in the field of Digital Marketing, Social Media, Brand Development and Project Management is required.
• Formal qualifications in Digital marketing, Brand Development, Social Media Marketing, Design and/or Project Management will be highly advantageous. 
• Strong networking skills to build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders. 
• Understanding of website page builders, HTML and CSS will be highly advantageous. 
• Strong analytical background is advantageous. 
• Superior technical knowledge of Digital marketing and Social Media Platforms. Experience creating content across multiple platforms. 
• Solid knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, Tag Manager, etc.) 
• Thorough understanding of SEO and UX and the implementation thereof. 
• Experience using Hubspot or similar email marketing platform. Experience creating targeted ads across various platforms. 
• Strong oral and written communication skills. 
• Superior Organisational skills. 
• High accuracy and attention to detail. Sound work ethic. 
• The ability to work under pressure. 
• The ability to work independently and in a team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conceptualisation development and implementation of digital marketing strategies and campaigns in collaboration with creative and sales teams, against set targets and budgets, and improve advertising performance.
• Technical management and administration of company/client digital platform accounts. 
• Analysis, interpretation, and presentation of digital marketing data and reports to company and clients Project planning and management – in collaboration with create team, clients and service providers. 
• Plans and executes all web, SEO/SEM, database marketing, email, social media, and display advertising campaigns. 
• Stay up to date on latest digital marketing trends. 
• Create monthly contents plan for company and clients.
• Any and all related digital marketing functions.
