Qualifications / Requirements:

• Matric
• Relevant qualification in Digital Marketing
• Minimum of 3 years digital marketing experience
• Knowledge of:

-      Specialized in digital marketing (across social media, paid search, organic search, emails etc)

-      Web copy writing experience

-      Digital marketing operations experience

-      Basic graphic design experience

-      Web and social media content development

-      Social media community management experience

-      WCMS experience

• Skills:

-      Website design (WordPress and HTML)

-      SEO/PPC

-      Email marketing (mimecast and Everlyitics preferred)

-      Social media management (strategy to execution)

-      Google ads, Analytics, reporting

-      YouTube management

-      Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal)

-      Plan and organise

-      Problem solving skills

-      Excellent customer service skills

-      Computer literacy – intermediate to advanced MS Office and MS Outlook

Key Performance Areas:

• Content management - optimize content for the website and social media networking channels and digital platforms
• Write engaging content for a variety of audiences that is consistent with brand guidelines
• Day to day building of content libraries/conversation calendars and scheduling in content
• Ensuring the content is up to date and has a relevant tone of voice
• Manage social media - design, build and maintain social media presence
• Support with any testing requirements for the website
• Develop and implement digital marketing strategies
• Develop and implement marketing campaigns aligned with brand goals
• Monitoring of customers - monitor the number of active registered customers and new active registered customers on multiple market segments online
• Drive traffic to the company website - increase the number of unique users online and across social media platforms
• Execute digital marketing campaigns that promote the company’s products and services
• Create and execute SMS, social media, digital and email based marketing campaigns
• Creation of landing pages for specials/promotions
• Identify and evaluate new digital marketing trends, new social media sites and web technologies
• Research new online media opportunities/trends that may benefit the business including mobile, social media, development of blogs and forums
• Manage paid media, including liaising with digital advertising agencies
• Enhance brand awareness in the digital space
• Support of different business units
• Set up, run and manage paid media campaigns (AdWords, remarketing, social media)
• Monthly reporting, provide insight and improvements and recommendations
• Update the web page as per instruction from the Marketing Manager
• Ensure the web page is functional by conducting routine maintenance
