Digital Graphic Designer and Social Media Marketer

SUMMARY:
An established manufacturer and distributor of agricultural chemicals is seeking an experienced and creative Digital Design and Social Media Marketer to join their dynamic Marketing Team, aimed at growing the digital presence and strengthening the company brand.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum requirements for the role:

• Must have a matric and relevant tertiary qualification
• Previous graphic design experience is essential
• Previous exposure to or knowledge of the Agriculture industry will be an added advantage
• Must be bilingual with good communication and written skills, specifically in English and Afrikaans with the ability to interface with internal and external stakeholders
• Up to date knowledge of emerging technologies will be required
• The ability to work in a fast-paced, high-productivity environment under tight deadlines is essential
• Must have experience in constructing, updating and managing social media feeds

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Updating the company website and social media platforms.
• Designing and approving relevant promotional materials.
• Designing and constructing training materials and brochures.
• Creating marketing materials such as banners.
• Developing social media content, both written and visual.
• Proposing new ideas and concepts for social media content.
• Reporting back on the strategy regarding insights and data.
• Writing and editing original copy that is accurate, well-researched and meets the company requirements and deadlines.
• Managing the company app.
• Ensuring all content is maintained to a high quality and kept updated.
• Proofreading articles, artwork, designs, etc. to ensure no mistakes are made.
• Supporting the marketing team to implement marketing campaigns digitally.
