JOB DESCRIPTION:

JOB PURPOSE (describe in one or two sentences the overall and unique purpose of the job)

§ To lead digital transformation in marketing and merchandise in order to achieve financial and marketing objectives for Clicks brands

JOB OBJECTIVES (describe the key responsibilities of the job, in order of importance)

§ To assume accountability for E-commerce P&L targets and operations

§ To increase website (virtual store) conversion with personalization and improved navigation / journeys

§ To increase awareness, traffic with social media, SEO, paid media and digital communication

§ To create engaging and effective digital creative

§ To drive campaigns awareness with effective media buying

§ To execute supplier funded digital content

KEY CHALLENGES (describe any key challenges the job faces that may have a significant impact on performance)

§ Lack of understanding of digital marketing or marketing by rest of the business

§ Misalignment on expectations and level of investment and resources required

§ Huge amount of content and communication touchpoints

§ Deliver net profitability in Ecommerce with high fulfilment cost and low margins

§ Ensuring Tresemme advert issue (or similar) does not happen again (chairing Advertising Advisory committee)

§ Omnichannel communication means this team needs to frequently develop unique content
