Key Responsibilities

Online and Social Media

• Enhance the performance and user experience of online platforms against key metrics and qualitative goals.
• Implement online and social media engagement strategies, including organic and paid social, search, and programmatic campaigns.
• Stay abreast of emerging digital and social media trends and apply relevant opportunities to online platforms.
• Advocate for and support the use of the website CMS and champion HubSpot to strategically grow and segment the supporter base.
• Monitor user feedback and audience research to improve platforms and content.
• Collaborate across teams to ensure the effective promotion, distribution, and treatment of digital content, including news stories, blogs, landing pages, and fundraising appeals.
• Maintain and upgrade content on core platforms, including the main website and specialized properties like Earth Hour and Journey of Water.
• Report on digital performance post-campaign, quarterly, and annually as part of the monitoring and evaluation processes.

Digital Optimization

• Manage digital projects and campaigns, ensuring alignment with marketing and communication goals.
• Conduct multivariate testing, track social media impact, and develop supporter journeys to enhance conversion rates.
• Drive quality traffic to the website and increase online activity in collaboration with internal teams and external agencies.
• Act as a liaison with international digital and tech teams to maintain alignment and leverage global resources.

Digital Creative Leadership

• Foster a creative and inspiring environment within the digital community.
• Generate innovative ideas, contributing to a culture of learning and growth within the team.

Requirements

• Relevant qualifications in communications, marketing, design, media, or related fields.
• 3–5 years of experience in digital roles, including content creation and strategy development, preferably in a marketing, publishing, or agency environment.
• Proven experience in engaging and converting various audiences.
• Proficiency in two or more of the following: HTML, CSS, video/image editing, and design tools like Photoshop.
• Advanced expertise with content management systems and marketing technologies (preferably HubSpot).
• Strong proficiency in online analytical tools, including Google Analytics and SEO best practices.
• Experience in user experience (UX) design and working with digital/creative agencies.
• Excellent written and spoken English; additional languages are advantageous.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to deliver multiple projects simultaneously.
• Passion for conservation and environmental issues.
