Digital Designer (Part-time, work from home position)

SUMMARY:
A leader in the industry of health and wellness, is looking for a talented, creative, part-time, work from home Digital Designer. That specializes in social media/digital, creating designs for the unique needs for social media platforms such as Instagram and Facebook.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements:

• Strong understanding of best social media practices.
• Solid knowledge of marketing competencies.
• Creativity and proven graphic designing experience.
• A strong portfolio of previous work.
• Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite products, Photoshop/Illustrator in particular.
• A good eye for aesthetics and details.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines.
• Good time-management skills.
• Be able to produce original ideas.
• Photography, video and editing skills a big plus.

Responsibilities:

• Study design briefs and determine requirements.
• Conceptualize visuals based on requirements.
• Prepare rough drafts and present ideas.
• Produce content to be posted on Facebook and Instagram mainly, but for websites and marketing.
• Creating posts to attract customers on social media.
• Follow a CI but bring own creativity to each design.
• Ensure consistency of brand elements.
• Work with marketing manager to translate and create marketing requirements into compelling, appropriate campaigns and designs.
• Amend designs after feedback.
• Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand.
