Diesel Workshop Foreman

POSITION INFO:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a workshop foreman with a franchised dealership
• Clear ID Copy Clear Driver’s License Copy (Code 14)
• Grade 12 senior certificate Merseta / Olifantsfontein Certificate Diesel mechanic
• Master or Diagnostic Technician Certificate Beneficial
• Clean criminal record Clear ITC record
KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS:
• Must read / write & speak English
• Must have good communication skills
• Must be computer literate
EXPERIENCE:
• The Workshop Foreman will be required to work on fast moving brands as well as premium brand vehicles when required. ( from light to heavy duty vehicles)
• The foreman would be required to manage the workshop and staff, Service Advisors, (6) Technicians, and or more staff.
• Time management is essential as well as a positive attitude and a great problem solver.
• Must be able to perform various tasks such as:
- Minor and Major Services;
- Engine Remove and replace;
- Engine Strip & Assemble;
- Gearbox Remove & Replace;
- Braking Systems;
- Steering;
- Suspension;
- Differentials;
- ELECTRICAL DIAGNOSTICS;
- MECHANICAL DIAGNOSTICS.
