SUMMARY:
Our client in the Mining Industry has an opportunity available for a Diesel Mechanic/Millwright in the Western Suburbs of Johannesburg.

POSITION INFO:
Education and Experience Requirements:

Matric
South African Trade tested as Diesel Mechanic/Electrician/Millwright (with electrical and hydraulic experience)
Proficient computer skills and Syspro advantageous
Technical background with 3 years qualified experience as a TM3 artisan.
Experience in underground mining TM3 Industry equipment will be advantageous
Experience in auto electrical and hydraulic
Knowledge of Deutz diesel engines

Duties:

Maintain service and report on all site capital equipment both on surface and underground as per the maintenance site requirements
Render technical assistance on all machinery as required by your site supervisors
Quality servicing of site capital equipment to ensure the promised / agreed availability
Complete daily and weekly audit reports for all machines audited
Monitoring and reporting on spares stock levels by written report to ensure that the correct costs are booked against the service job
