Diesel Mechanic Workshop Manager - Germiston
(Yellow & Earth Moving Equipment)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum requirements:

Grade 12 Senior Certificate
Qualified Diesel Mechanic - (Experience with Yellow & Earth Moving Equipment)
Valid Driver’s license and own transport to work and back
At least 7 years’ experience as a Workshop foreman or similar position
Proficiency in MS Outlook, Excel and Word
Great understanding of work optimization techniques
Good knowledge of the applicable safety regulations and procedures
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong leadership abilities
Good time management and problem-solving skills
Willingness to work long hours and overtime, if needed
Workshop foreman to oversee the day-to-day operations of the mechanical workshop
Supervise all Mechanical Personnel in the workshop
Oversee maintenance and repairs of equipment
Ensure efficiency of mechanical repairs
Manage and enforce safety regulations inside workshop area
