Diesel Mechanic (Earthmoving)

SUMMARY:
A new vacancy for a trade tested Diesel Mechanic awaits at a well-established distributor of Earthmoving Equipment situated in the northern suburbs of Cape Town.

POSITION INFO:

The main responsibility for the position is servicing and maintenance of the equipment range on-site and in the workshop. Good knowledge of mechanical repairs, engine overhauling, hydraulics, clutches, brakes, bearings etc is required.

Requirements:

Trade Tested Diesel Mechanic

Min of 3 years post trade test mechanical experience

SA Citizen

Knowledge and experience of Earthmoving equipment 

Valid driver’s licence with clean record

Ability to communicate in both English & Afrikaans languages

Computer literate

Ability to work overtime and standby as per operational requirements

2x references required with solid work history
