POSITION INFO:
Purpose:
Perform maintenance and repairs on earthmoving equipment as per client and company request.

Minimum Qualifications:
Certificate: Diesel Mechanic OR Certificate: Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic

Minimum Experience:
Mining equipment or mining industry: 3 years

Roles and Responsibilities include inter alia:

Maintenance and Repair
Maintain machines proactively through planned service schedules.
Conduct necessary fault finding to identify the problem and take necessary corrective action.
Ensure workshop is clean at all times.
Ensure all equipment, machines and tools are cleaned after use and stored.
Ensure that personal toolbox is in safe working condition.
Compile timesheet, critical, delivery, and failure reports.
