Diesel Mechanic

SUMMARY:
Our client in the mining industry is seeking a Diesel Mechanic with solid technical background (3 years qualified experience as a TM3 artisan) to join their team in Westonaria, Gauteng.

Position: Diesel Mechanic

Location: Westonaria, Gauteng
Salary: Basic Salary (plus Medical Allowance, Pension Fund, Funeral Fund, Allowance and Bonus
Start Date: ASAP
Closing Date: Friday, 22 October 2021

South African citizens only (preference to EE candidates)

EDUCATION SKILLS REQUIREMENT:

• Matric
• South African Trade tested as Diesel Mechanic/Electrician/Millwright (with electrical and hydraulic experience)

• Proficient computer skills and Syspro advantageous

• Responsible for own hand tools, clean and available to carry out the required.
• Responsible for his valid medical- security- and induction clearance prior to visiting a site.
• Time and attendance as per the company policy. 
• Comply at all times with the Mine and Company’s zero tolerance alcohol and substance abuse policies.
• To be responsible for client satisfaction with services offered.

• Technical background with 3 years qualified experience as a TM3 artisan.
• Experience in underground mining TM3 Industry equipment will be advantageous.
• Experience in auto electrical and hydraulic.
• Experience on the range of equipment will be advantageous.
• Knowledge of Deutz diesel engines.

• Availability as per arrangements with the Line Manager.
• At all times medical fit as per Mine Health & Safety regulations.
